Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced that My Hero Ultra Impact, the popular 3v3 turn-based mobile RPG based on the hit anime series, will conclude its service on May 18, 2026 (JST).
The announcement, which was shared via the gameβs official social media channels and in-game notices, marks the end of a four-year journey for the global version and nearly five years for the Japanese original.
ποΈ Important Dates and Changes With the βEnd of Serviceβ (EOS) now confirmed, several immediate changes have been implemented to the gameβs ecosystem:
Hero Gem Sales Ceased: As of March 17, 2026, the purchase of all premium currency (Hero Gems) has been disabled.
Currency Usage: Players who still have Hero Gems or items in their inventory can continue to use them until the servers go dark on May 18, 2026.
Service Termination: After the final maintenance on May 18, the game will no longer be accessible, and all player data will be permanently deleted.
π The Finale Campaign: A Heroβs Farewell To thank the community for their years of support, Bandai Namco has launched a massive Finale Campaign that allows players to experience everything the game has to offer one last time.
π Reflections on the Hero Journey Launched globally in February 2022, My Hero Ultra Impact was praised for its vibrant βManga-styleβ art and the ability to customize βMy Hero Base.β While Bandai Namco did not provide a specific reason for the closure, industry analysts point to the conclusion of the My Hero Academia manga and the nearing end of the anime adaptation as natural stopping points for IP-based mobile titles.
Despite the shutdown, the My Hero gaming presence remains active through other titles like My Hero Ultra Rumble, which continues to receive seasonal updates.
Note to Players: Be sure to take screenshots of your favorite character illustrations and your final βMain Teamβ before May 18th, as there is currently no word on an offline βGallery Modeβ for the game.
