Nekopara Sekai Connect (often abbreviated as Nekoconne) is the latest entry in the world-renowned “catgirl comedy” franchise. Developed by Good Smile Company in collaboration with NEKO WORKs, this title marks a significant shift for the series, moving from the traditional linear visual novel format to a free-to-play social RPG experience.
Story and Setting Set in a near-future world where humans live alongside genetically engineered, AI-assisted catgirls (Nekos), the story follows the familiar setting of the patisserie La Soleil.
The narrative kicks off when the player is invited to the Neko Festival, a global competition where shop owners and their Nekos compete for popularity. Legend has it that the winner of the festival will be granted a single wish by the mysterious “Neko-creating AI.”
